Lorraine Hansberry was a playwright and writer, and the first African-American female author to have a play performed on Broadway. Her best known work was the play A Raisin in the Sun. She died in 1965, the year after the publication of this book in the States. Softcover, pp 128, with black & white photos, some shocking, documenting the Civil Rights movement at the time.
